According to the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 11 of Law 2690/1999 (A’ 45) “Ratification of the Code of Administrative Procedure and other provisions”, as supplemented by paragraph 3 of Article 16 of Law 3345/2005 (A’ 138), “the certification of the authenticity of the signature of the interested party is carried out by any administrative authority or Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP), on the basis of an identity card or other documents provided for in Article 3”.
Furthermore, according to the provisions of Article 1 of Law 2690/1999, as in force, “the provisions of this Code apply to the State, local government organizations and other legal entities governed by public law, unless otherwise provided by specific provisions”.
