During the COVID-19 emergency measures, the operations of land registry offices (Cadastral Offices) and mortgage registries throughout Greece were suspended. Submissions and searches could not be conducted in person. The suspension affected all property transactions, registrations, and title searches, causing delays in real estate closings across the country.
