According to Circular No. Δ6Α 1137134/2013 issued by the General Secretary for Public Revenue, payments by citizens to the Tax Offices (D.O.Y.) shall be made exclusively by credit or debit cards or by cheques.
It is further provided that a duplicate receipt shall be issued by the competent Tax Office only in cases where, due to technical reasons, payment through banks or the Hellenic Post (ELTA) is not possible, and until the integration of all payments into these systems is completed.
